On September 28, 2021, the second project workshop Hygiene Technologies of the Saxony Economic Development Corporation with the focus on "Detection of Contamination and Functionalization of Surfaces and Products" took place with the Fraunhofer FEP as host. In addition to interesting keynote speeches by representatives from Saxon SMEs, the challenges and technologies as well as the needs of the participants in the areas of surface functionalization, sensor technology & detection, surfaces for cleaning facilitation and design suitable for cleaning were discussed in depth in various topic islands. Of course, the event again offered many opportunities for networking. A continuation of this successful format is planned.
