Heat Exchanger Fouling and Cleaning XIV

Heat exchanger fouling is a chronic problem that contributes to process economics, plant capacity, as well as environmental and safety concerns within the food, pharmaceutical, water, chemical, petrochemical, and refining industries.

The Heat Exchanger Fouling & Cleaning Conference provides a unique opportunity, from June 5th to 10th, 2022, to facilitate innovative thinking through the sharing of ideas, research, and technology.

The fair will take place in Wagrain, Austria. Participants can look forward to informative presentations and poster sessions, as well as interactive ad hoc discussions. In addition, social activities – meals, evening receptions and an off-site excursion – are planned.

Submissions from industry and academia – including students presenting their work – are welcome. The Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering and Packaging IVV will also take part in the trade fair with the topic "System for automated monitoring of local soil removal during cleaning in closed food processing lines with a quartz crystal sensor".

As fouling is a complex problem, any contribution on the subject will be considered, including practical and theoretical approaches, case studies, modelling, cleaning techniques or new inventions.
