Fraunhofer-Business Area Cleaning
We look back on our successful seminar "Expert in Industrial Parts Cleaning" 2025. From April 2-4, 18 participants gathered at Fraunhofer FEP – a record number. With a revised seminar concept, we kicked off three days full of exciting content and interactive workshops. Participants were able to deepen their knowledge in 25 topics related to industrial cleaning processes and technical cleanliness. Fundamental knowledge and skills for the independent and efficient planning of cleaning processes and for the structured resolution of problem and damage cases were conveyed.
Practical deepening was facilitated through laboratory work and various group projects. Participants had the opportunity to be actively involved. Test components were deliberately contaminated and then cleaned using CO2 snow jet and steam – two exciting methods of industrial parts cleaning. Bath monitoring was also conducted practically, and the use of lasers was involved. The live connection to the IPA cleanroom in Stuttgart (ISO Class 1) was a highlight for everyone involved.
Of course, networking among participants and speakers was also not overlooked. The evening ended pleasantly with a restaurant visit and a city tour. A campus tour at the Institute Center in Dresden as well as delicious catering were also part of the seminar.
