On October 6 and 7, 2026, the 9th conference on “Contamination in Film Production & Clean Manufacturing Processes” will take place in Bad Gögging. The event will focus on the latest practical insights into future-proof processes for clean products. Special attention will be given to clean process chains, cleanability, technical cleanliness, high purity, sensor technology, AI, and the stability of cleaning processes.
FRei member and group leader for cleaning and hygiene technologies, Frank-Holm Rögner, will participate in the conference as a speaker. His presentation, “When is a Component Clean? The Major Advantage and Limitations of the New DIN 4878-1” addresses many different and important questions, such as: What should be done when the requirement is “technically clean”? How can a standard help make the requirements transparent and verifiable? In a workshop on “Standards” on the afternoon of the first day, which Frank-Holm Rögner will lead together with Prof. Mannschreck, participants will have the opportunity to experience the practical relevance of standardized processes for component cleanliness through hands-on group work.
