Fraunhofer-Business Area Cleaning
On April 14 and 15, FRei member Gaby Gotzmann from the Fraunhofer Institute for Electron Beam and Plasma Technology FEP traveled to Steinhagen for the 3rd meeting of the working group "Plasma4Production". The working group is part of the Competence Network for Industrial Plasma Surface Technology (INPLAS e.V.). The event brought together industry partners from the field of plasma system technology and various manufacturers of cleaning systems.
Gaby Gotzmann gave a presentation on the topic "Cleaning processes for and with plasma technologies". In her presentation, she emphasized the importance and fundamentals of cleaning processes as well as plasma processes in this context. Particularly interesting were, of course, the application examples for plasma processes in cleaning.
In addition to numerous presentations and networking opportunities, a highlight was the tour of the host's facilities: Plasmatreat. All in all, a successful meeting!
