From August 31 to September 3, 2026, the 20th International Conference on Plasma Surface Engineering took place at the Erfurt Exhibition Center. Experts had the opportunity to discuss the latest advances in research, development, and industrial applications in the fields of surface, plasma, and vacuum technologies.
FRei member Linda Steinhäußer from Fraunhofer FEP presented on the topic: “Properties and effectiveness of fresh and stored plasma-treated liquids for surface hygienization” and was active at the INPLAS Network’s joint booth.
This year’s PSE was once again a resounding success.
From coating systems and plasma technologies to advanced materials, analytics, and automation—visitors were able to experience firsthand the innovations shaping the future of surface, plasma, and vacuum technology.
