Help! I have to meet a cleanliness specification!

 

With the new DIN 4878-1, set to be published in November 2026, there will be — for the first time — a standardized procedure for creating a cleanliness specification that meets requirements and can be verified.

The first hands-on training course based on DIN 4878-1 will prepare you for this!

 

From November 3–4, 2026, in Dresden, you’ll have the opportunity to get a quick introduction to the structure of the standard under the guidance of one of its authors. Using your own practical example, you’ll learn how DIN 4878-1 simplifies your work in creating and implementing a cleanliness specification and provides you with greater certainty in your supplier-customer relationship.

The learning objectives include:

- Familiarizing yourself with the structure and procedure according to DIN 4878-1

- Being able to distinguish between residues and interfering contaminants

- Being able to determine and evaluate limit values

- Practical creation of a cleanliness specification under guidance using your own example

Each participant will receive a personal copy of DIN 4878-1.
