Review of the 33rd Conference on Industrial Parts Cleaning

Under the motto "Component Cleaning as Enabling Technology – Fundamentals & Innovations for More Sustainability," the 33rd Conference on Industrial Parts Cleaning took place on June 26 and 27, 2025, at the Neckar Forum in Esslingen.

The Fraunhofer- Business Area Cleaning was represented by Frank-Holm Rögner, who provided exciting insights with his lecture "The Cleanability Analysis – An Early Indicator for Sustainable Cleaning Processes."

Before the Fraunhofer Business Area Cleaning took its turn, 14 exciting presentations were listened to on June 26. Fun was also on the agenda, with a knowledge quiz via Kahoot, Frank-Holm Rögner took first place at the end of the first day! As the only one without any mistakes!

With so much encouragement and support, Frank-Holm Rögner was then able to present his contribution in the topic block on energy efficiency & sustainability on the second day of the conference.

Overall, the conference provided many valuable insights on how component cleanliness can be maintained stably and efficiently – today and in the future. We are proud to have been a part of it and are already looking forward to the next time!
