FRei member Dr. Alexander Blättermann is making the long journey to Columbus, Ohio to participate in the Parts Cleaning Conference. The three-day event from July 7 to 9 includes a conference as well as associated workshops. Everything revolves around continuing education, innovation, regulations, and networking in the field of industrial component cleaning. Industry experts share their knowledge, the latest innovations and practical solutions are presented, and building new contacts should not be neglected either.
Dr. Alexander Blättermann from the Fraunhofer Institute for Physical Measurement Techniques IPM will also contribute to the conference. On July 9 at 2:00 PM, he will give a presentation on the topic of "Seamless Cleanliness Inspection" and present the F-Scanner and F-Camera technologies.
The cleanliness of surfaces with regard to organic contaminants is crucial for establishing modern processes in bonding, welding, or coating. Comprehensive cleanliness inspection is particularly required for larger areas. However, many modern methods can only detect individual areas. The F-Scanner and F-Camera can use laser-induced fluorescence detection to inspect entire surfaces at high speed, sensitivity, and resolution. Ultimately, this can improve product quality as well as safety.
