Fraunhofer-Business Area Cleaning
We look back on a successful basic seminar "Expert for Industrial Component Cleaning" 2026. From April 22-24, 16 participants gathered at Fraunhofer FEP.
3 days full of exciting content and interactive workshops. The participants were able to deepen their knowledge in 25 subject areas in the field of industrial cleaning processes and technical cleanliness. Fundamental knowledge and skills for the independent and efficient planning of cleaning processes and for the structured solution of problem and damage cases were taught.
The practical deepening was made possible by laboratory work and various group projects. The participants had the opportunity to become active themselves. Test components were deliberately contaminated and then cleaned using CO2 snow jet and aqueous ultrasonic cleaning – two exciting methods of industrial component cleaning. Bath monitoring was also carried out practically, and lasers were used. Especially the live connection to the IPA cleanroom in Stuttgart (ISO Class 1) was a highlight for all the involved.
Of course, networking among participants and speakers was not neglected. The evening ended comfortably together with a restaurant visit and a city tour. A campus tour at the Institute Center Dresden and delicious catering were also part of the seminar.
